PRESIDENT Soar Into 2026 With Angel Wings
Multi-million streaming UK collective PRESIDENT have returned with their first new music of 2026, unveiling the striking and cinematic new single “Angel Wings.” It’s a track that feels less like a comeback and more like a statement of intent.
Built at the intersection of heavy music, electronic experimentation and widescreen atmosphere, “Angel Wings” finds the band leaning further into their refusal to conform. Alt-rock textures collide with industrial programming and taut, push-and-pull breakdowns, resulting in something both punishing and strangely euphoric.
A New Chapter Begins
“‘Angel Wings’ reflects a search for spiritual redemption and the resolve to begin again,” the band explain. “It marks the opening of a new chapter. At its core, the song speaks to holding close those who matter most, while remaining unmoved by detractors.”
That sense of rebirth runs deeper than the lyrics. “Angel Wings” is not only the first PRESIDENT release of the year — it also marks their first outing under the Atlantic Records banner, signalling a bold step forward for a project that has thrived on mystique since launching in 2025.
Operating under a cloak of minimalism and anonymity, PRESIDENT have cultivated intrigue with every drop. The heavy press took notice quickly, with Metal Hammer declaring them “on their way to winning a landslide victory over metal,” Kerrang! hailing “a new leader to take heavy music into a glorious new age,” and Rock Sound crowning them the “breakout metal success of 2025.”
Built Outside the Noise
In a cover feature with Revolver, the band summed up their philosophy: stepping back from an industry they see as conveyor-belt fast fashion, choosing instead to create a world to be discovered rather than sold. It’s a mindset that continues to define them — intent over image, depth over distraction.
The new single follows the release of their debut EP King of Terrors, which arrived in autumn 2025 and laid the foundation for their growing movement.
Hitting the Road With Bad Omens
Before returning home for a sold-out UK headline run, PRESIDENT will cross North America alongside Bad Omens and Beartooth this winter.
