Public Opinion Announce New Album The Curse Of Public Opinion
Denver punk bruisers Public Opinion have announced their sophomore album, The Curse Of Public Opinion, set for release on 7th August 2026 via SideOneDummy.
At just 23 minutes, the record promises a lean, snarling burst of frustration, splicing 2000s garage rock swagger with classic punk hooks and hardcore bite. Rather than offering easy catharsis or polished self-help slogans, Public Opinion lean into the mess: songs built for the moments when life is still swinging.
New Single “Balloon Man Running” Lands With A Video
To mark the announcement, the band have shared album opener “Balloon Man Running”. It is a raw, raucous cut powered by primal rock & roll riffs and a bitter streak of unfiltered agitation.
Recorded with Brett Romnes, whose credits include Anxious, I Am The Avalanche and Hot Mulligan, The Curse Of Public Opinion finds the band pushing their sound into bigger, sharper territory while keeping its teeth firmly intact.
