Nickelback announce Everything Under The Sun and share new John 5 collaboration
Nickelback will release their new studio album, Everything Under The Sun, on 30 October via Virgin Music Group.
The Canadian rock band have also shared the album’s lead single, Rattle The Cage, featuring guitarist John 5. The track is Nickelback’s first new music since 2022’s Get Rollin’, arriving with a visualiser and an official video scheduled to premiere at 8pm BST today.

A loud opening statement
Rattle The Cage pairs the band’s familiar hard-rock heft with a guest appearance from John 5, the guitarist known for his work with Mötley Crüe, Rob Zombie and more. The song is positioned as the heavier edge of the forthcoming record, built around rapid-fire riffs and a live-wire feel.
Frontman Chad Kroeger said: “This album has every side of the band on it. There are songs that hit as hard as anything we’ve ever done, songs that take chances, and songs that remind us why we’ve been doing this together for so long.

The first Virgin Music Group release
Everything Under The Sun marks Nickelback’s first release through Virgin Music Group. No track listing has yet been announced, though the band say the record will move between heavier material, melodic rock songs and more reflective writing.
