Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats unveil Shapes Of Midnight ahead of UK headline dates
Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats have released their new album, Shapes Of Midnight, via Killer Candy Records.
The eight-track record finds Kevin Starrs and his band once again working in the murky overlap between heavy riffs, psych textures, vintage rock melodrama and uneasy melodic hooks. It follows 2024’s cinematic concept album Nell’ Ora Blu, with the new material pushing further into the group’s shadowy, kaleidoscopic sound world.
Opening with House by the Grave, the album moves through titles including When Evil Wakes, Psycho On The Loose and Sleep No More.

Shapes Of Midnight arrives with Uncle Acid’s familiar taste for sinister imagery and slow-burning heaviness intact, while the record’s song titles suggest another nocturnal trip through the band’s horror-tinged universe.

UK shows begin in Wolverhampton
The release will be followed by a run of UK headline shows this November, beginning at KK’s Steel Mill in Wolverhampton and taking in Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol and Brighton. The itinerary then resumes in London next March with a date at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
