THROUGH BEING GHOUL OUT NOW VIA EQUAL VISION RECORDS AND PURE NOISE RECORDS
Fellow New Jerseyans Saves The Day and Senses Fail surprised fans today with the release of Through Being Ghoul – a split EP of Misfits covers just in time for Halloween. Out now through Equal Vision Records and Pure Noise Records, Through Being Ghoul finds both bands expanding outside their comfort zones while still sounding right at home as torchbearers of their respective genres. The split features their takes on classic punk ragers from the horror legends such as “We Are 138” and “Attitude” (covered by Senses Fail), and “Some Kinda Hate” and “Where Eagles Dare” (covered by Saves The Day). Stream Through Being Ghoul here today and pre-order the limited edition physical release here.
Saves The Day has been busy since the release of their ninth full-length 9 in 2018, reissuing their seminal second full-length Through Being Cool, playing sold-out anniversary shows on both coasts, and hosting a pop-up shop with Danny Bowien’s Mission Chinese last year. Chris Conley has stayed in touch with fans throughout the pandemic with Q&A’s, Happy Hours, and virtual performances such as his recent appearance for Riot Fest At Home. Senses Fail have spent the last two years continuing to tour, including a stop at Riot Fest and an Australian run in 2019 in support of their seventh album If There Is Light, It Will Find You. On top of reissuing their debut EP From the Depths of Dreams last year with Pure Noise Records, the band has been preparing for the release of a new full-length.
