Bloodstock expands its 2027 line-up with 18 new names across two stages
Bloodstock Open Air has added 18 more acts to its 2027 bill, with Carnifex, Make Them Suffer, The Acacia Strain and Calva Louise among the latest names confirmed for Catton Park.
The new wave of announcements stretches across the Ronnie James Dio and Sophie Lancaster stages, further filling out a bill already topped by Mercyful Fate, Electric Callboy and Motionless In White. Bloodstock 2027 takes place in Derbyshire from 5-8 August.
Deathcore, post-metal and Scottish heavyweights on the Dio stage
Friday’s Ronnie James Dio stage now includes Edinburgh progressive post-metal outfit DVNE. Saturday brings Australian metalcore outfit Make Them Suffer and Aberdeen riff merchants Dog Tired, while Sunday welcomes Californian deathcore mainstays Carnifex.
The additions give the main stage a sharp spread of contemporary heaviness, from DVNE’s expansive sludge-soaked atmospheres to Carnifex’s punishing deathcore attack.
The Sophie Lancaster stage fills out across four days
The Sophie Lancaster stage will open on Thursday with London stoner rock group Steak, Leeds technical thrash outfit Cryptic Shift and London trio Calva Louise.
Friday’s new names are Slough thrashers Divine Chaos, London hardcore band False Reality and Northern Irish crossover veterans Gama Bomb.
Saturday brings a particularly varied run, with Brighton’s nu-metal-minded trio Eville, Ukrainian metalcore group Space Of Variations, Finnish alternative metal act Luna Kills, transatlantic collective Spitting Glass and Atlanta deathcore band Left To Suffer all joining the programme.
Sunday’s Sophie Lancaster stage additions are Cypriot thrash/death metal band Blynd, Norwegian black and viking metal outfit Uburen and Massachusetts heavyweights The Acacia Strain, whose appearance promises a suitably unforgiving finish to the weekend.

The full 2026 performance from Swedish melodic death metal band Orbit Culture premieres at 6pm tonight, 11 September. The set was filmed at Catton Park during this year’s festival.
