Call Me Amour set self-titled final EP for January with new single The Way That You Are
Call Me Amour have announced their self-titled final EP, due for release on 22 January 2027. The five-track record is billed as the closing chapter of the band’s EP releases, bringing together the electronic textures and guitar weight they have been refining in recent years.
Recorded at Amour Studios on the Isle of Man, Call Me Amour will include 2025 single Wrong Direction alongside newly unveiled track The Way That You Are.
The band said: “We’re incredibly proud of this record. It feels like everything we’ve explored as a band has led us here.”
A bass-heavy new single with a 1950s twist
The Way That You Are arrives with a new music video, which places the band’s heavier electronic-rock sound against a 1950s high-school rock ’n’ roll setting. Guitarist Geoff Murphy said the song began in a markedly different place before its final shape emerged.

“The Way That You Are started life as a heavy rock/blues riff, but we wanted to give it a different energy, bringing in a dirty, bass-heavy sound inspired by our love of big electronic music, particularly Wiley’s Brand New Rolex and Kele’s Tenderoni,” Murphy said.
“We had a lot of fun with the video too, leaning into that 1950s high-school rock ’n’ roll vibe, with a little nod to our mutual love of Grease.”
Vocalist Harry Radford added: “The Way That You Are was one of those songs we kept pulling apart and putting back together until it finally clicked. We love the sound and energy of it, and the video was an absolute blast to shoot.”
