Cinema Stereo unveil eight local support acts for November and December UK dates

Cinema Stereo have announced the eight local acts joining them across their 2026 UK headline tour, following an open call that invited bands and fans to nominate emerging artists in each city.

The Nashville rock trio will play dates across England and Scotland between 25 November and 5 December, with a Planet Rockstock appearance in Porthcawl also scheduled for 29 November. The run forms part of the band’s first full European and UK headline tour, which begins in Belgium in October and takes in Germany, France, Spain and the Netherlands before reaching Britain.

An open call brings local artists onto the bill

Cinema Stereo put the invitation out through social media, asking followers to point them towards acts who could open each show. “Tag your band or your favourite local band in the comments and tell us why you should open the show,” the group said. “Let’s put together an unforgettable night, and we can’t wait to discover some amazing new music.”

The response brought recommendations from around the country, with the final selections spanning Manchester’s Entropy, Sheffield’s Orchidelia, Leek’s Jessie & The Revolvers, Glasgow’s Gambit, York’s Cabin Beat, Norwich’s Like Optimists, Frome’s Wild Oceans and London’s Star Print Clad.

The UK dates arrive shortly after the release of Cinema Stereo’s debut album, 12:34, due on Friday 2 October 2026. Produced by Paul Moak and recorded at The Smoakstack in Nashville, the 12-track record will be released digitally, on CD and limited-edition vinyl.
