Hatebreed set November release for Fatal Paradox with furious new single Kill Count Increase
Hatebreed have announced their first album in six years. Fatal Paradox, the Connecticut hardcore institution’s ninth studio record, will arrive on 6 November via BLKIIBLK.
The announcement lands alongside Kill Count Increase, a compact and punishing new single produced with long-time collaborator Zeuss. Built around accelerating riffs, d-beats and frontman Jamey Jasta’s unmistakable bark, the track offers an appropriately blunt first indication of the record’s direction.
“Kill Count Increase is the lead track on Fatal Paradox and a perfect way of summing up our first album in six years from the start,” Jasta says. “It’s straightforward, in-your-face Hatebreed. Fast. Hard. It gets down to business and comes up for air two-and-a-half minutes later. The room and everyone in it gets wrecked and comes back wanting more.”

Fatal Paradox contains 11 tracks, including Total Invincible, The Carrion Choir and Truth Is A Lion. The record also features a guest appearance from Obituary vocalist John Tardy on Sacrifice Season.

Summer Slaughter dates and US headline shows
Before the album arrives, Hatebreed will take their new material into a run of North American dates, including a Summer Slaughter headline stretch, a support slot with Slayer in Minnesota and an appearance supporting Turnstile in Florida.
