Joanne Shaw Taylor channels the pull of a destructive romance on Bad Boy
Joanne Shaw Taylor has released Bad Boy, a sharp-edged new blues-rock single from her forthcoming album The Trouble With Love, due on 23 October via Journeyman Records.
Built around Taylor’s guitar work and a vocal that moves from bruised frustration to clear-eyed resolve, Bad Boy traces the emotional whiplash of a relationship that is difficult to leave behind. Its narrator refuses to remain the fool, turning a toxic romance into a statement of independence.

Taylor says: “Sometimes love is thrilling and destructive at the same time. I wrote this song about those intense, complicated relationships.”
The single arrives with a lyric video, while the album is available to pre-order through Taylor’s official channels below.
