After dominating the summer festival circuit with appearances at Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, and Green Man, the unstoppable Lambrini Girls have unleashed their latest single, ‘Company Culture’, while gearing up for a massive EU/UK tour in 2025.
Challenging the Boys’ Club with ‘Company Culture’
Their new track, ‘Company Culture’, is a scathing critique of the systemic hurdles faced by women and queer people in the workplace. The band pulls no punches in their statement about the song’s theme:
“Tired of working twice as hard while white, middle-aged men get credit for your ideas? Afraid to report harassment? Constantly second-guessing to avoid conflict? If you’ve answered yes: you’re probably a woman or a queer person.”
With lyrics that rip into the toxic “boys’ club” mentality, Lambrini Girls continue their streak of fiercely political anthems, calling out the hypocrisy and double standards that many face daily.
The Rise of Lambrini Girls
Phoebe Lunny (vocals/guitar) and Lilly Macieira (bass), the Brighton-based duo behind Lambrini Girls, have been turning heads with their electrifying live performances and uncompromising lyrical content. After the success of recent singles ‘God’s Country’ and ‘Body Of Mine’—both earning spots on the BBC6 Music playlist—the band is rapidly climbing the ranks of the UK punk scene.
Their riotous energy has earned them accolades from BBC Radio 1, NME, Variety Magazine, and KEXP, and they’ve even caught the attention of punk legend Iggy Pop. With a nomination for Rolling Stone UK’s Rising Stars Award, their momentum shows no signs of slowing.
