Melrose Avenue share Cemetery Friend and announce 2027 UK and EU tour

“We essentially wanted this song to feel like a car crash between the 2 acts and we are pretty sure that’s what we’ve achieved here!”

Melrose Avenue join forces with The Funeral Portrait on Cemetery Friend and line up 2027 UK and EU dates

Fresh from Download Festival 2026 and the announcement of their biggest UK headline run to date, Melrose Avenue have returned with Cemetery Friend, a new single featuring The Funeral Portrait.

The track pushes both bands into darker territory, balancing melody, intensity and atmosphere with a theatrical edge. It arrives in the wake of recent singles Taste and Bad Guy, which have continued to build the Sydney quartet’s profile across heavy music circles.

A heavier collaboration built for the pit

Vlado Saric says the pairing clicked quickly and that the new track was written with both acts in mind: “We essentially wanted this song to feel like a car crash between the 2 acts and we are pretty sure that’s what we’ve achieved here!”
