Mutations Festival adds Jeffrey Lewis, Tara Clerkin Trio and Snayx to 2026 bill

Mutations Festival has completed its 2026 line-up with 23 further acts joining headliners Fat Dog and Mike D 5D across Brighton on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October.

The final wave takes the eighth edition of the city-spanning festival to more than 90 artists, with shows taking place across ten independent venues including CHALK, Patterns, The Hope & Ruin, Green Door Store, Dust and The Prince Albert.

Jeffrey Lewis and Tara Clerkin Trio lead final additions

Friday’s programme has expanded with Jeffrey Lewis & The Voltage, O., GB, Silverwingkiller, Humane, Opal Mag, M. Woodroe, Divorce Attorney, Oral Habit, Die Twice, Maximilian, The Stanford Family Band, Zo Lief and The Mink.

They join Fat Dog at the top of the Friday bill, alongside Squid, Working Men’s Club, Basht., Bdrmm, Lip Critic, Lauren Auder, Bed and The Besnard Lakes.

Saturday welcomes Tara Clerkin Trio, Snayx, DJ Food, Hank, Jo From School, Post Common, Night Swimming, Josephine Illingworth and Ninush. The new names slot into a bill led by Mike D 5D, with Dove Ellis, Alex Cameron, Panic Shack, Warhaus, Walt Disco, UNKLE Sounds and TTSSFU also set to play.

Mike D brings a rare Brighton headline set

Mike D 5D’s Saturday appearance is billed as the first Brighton performance by a Beastie Boys member since the group played the Brighton Centre with Run-DMC in May 1987. The set follows the August release of Mike Diamond’s debut solo album, built from exploratory sessions recorded at his home studio.

Elsewhere, Fat Dog take Friday headline duties with a newly expanded seven-piece line-up, while the wider programme continues Mutations’ freewheeling mix of post-punk, electronic music, jazz, indie rock, hip-hop and noise.
