Ricky Warwick channels Phil Lynott on new single Last Chance To Dance
Ricky Warwick has released Last Chance To Dance, the latest track from his forthcoming solo album Fire & Vengeance, due out on 4 September via Earache Records.
Built around raw guitar lines and a full-throttle rock’n’roll pulse, the single draws directly on the musical and lyrical spirit of Thin Lizzy and Phil Lynott. Warwick frames the song as a late-night anthem for making the most of the time left on the clock.
“Last Chance To Dance is about knowing the clock is ticking and choosing to turn the music up instead of quietly heading for the door,” Warwick says. “It’s about scars, second chances and squeezing every last drop out of the night. If this is the last chance to dance, then we’re gonna make damn sure it counts.”
A record built fast and loud
Fire & Vengeance follows recent singles Seek Zen Destroy, featuring Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen on guitar and backing vocals, and the album’s title track. Collen also appears on the record alongside Doug Aldrich, Blackberry Smoke’s Charlie Starr and Darren Holden of The High Kings.
Warwick says the 10-track album was made with an immediacy that reflects his no-frills writing approach.

“I wanted to make an album that captures everything I love about rock’n’roll – its power to bring people together, to make us dance and connect with one another, even in a world that often feels consumed by fire and vengeance,” he says. “At its core, this record is about finding hope and unity in the chaos.”
Fire & Vengeance will be available on several coloured-vinyl editions, including signed copies and exclusive bundles. Pre-order the album here.

Warwick will mark the album’s release with a nine-date in-store run across September, beginning with a sold-out appearance at Crash in Leeds. He then takes Fire & Vengeance across the UK and Ireland for a headline tour in November, including dates at London’s 100 Club, Manchester’s Gorilla and Belfast’s Limelight 2.
