Ricky Warwick shares The Angels’ Share video as Fire & Vengeance reaches UK midweek Top 10
Ricky Warwick has released a new video for The Angels’ Share as his latest solo album, Fire & Vengeance, enters the Official UK Albums Chart midweek update at number six.
Released through Earache Records, Fire & Vengeance is Warwick’s second album in 18 months, following 2025’s Blood Ties. The 10-track record arrives ahead of a run of UK and Ireland in-store appearances this week, followed by a headline tour in November.
The Angels’ Share is among the more reflective moments on the record. Warwick says the song was shaped by a visit to Tupelo, Mississippi, including Tupelo Hardware, where Elvis Presley bought his first guitar, and the modest house where he grew up.

“The Angels’ Share was inspired by visiting Tupelo Hardware, where Elvis bought his first guitar, and the tiny house where he grew up,” Warwick says. “Standing in those places had a profound effect on me — a powerful reminder that the humblest beginnings can shape a life and change rock ’n’ roll forever.”
The new single follows Last Chance To Dance, Seek Zen Destroy and the album’s title track. Seek Zen Destroy features Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen on guitar and backing vocals, while the album also includes appearances from Doug Aldrich, Charlie Starr and Darren Holden.
A record written at speed
Warwick has described the album as a direct and fast-moving affair, with its songs built around the working methods he has carried from his early days.
“I wanted to make an album that captures everything I love about rock’n’roll – its power to bring people together, to make us dance and connect with one another, even in a world that often feels consumed by fire and vengeance,” he says. “At its core, this record is about finding hope and unity in the chaos.”
He adds: “I’m not one of those guys who needs to disappear into a cabin in the mountains with all this fancy gear. All I need is a room and a guitar, and the ideas come. It’s a working-class thing, something I had instilled in me when I was a kid.”
Fire & Vengeance is available on several vinyl variants, signed editions and bundles. Pre-order and buy the album here.
