SerpentS bring western-styled fury to new single Wetter Than Revenge
Manchester four-piece SerpentS have released their new single Wetter Than Revenge, a brash alt-rock cut set to appear on their forthcoming debut EP, Let Loose & Join A Cult.
The track arrives ahead of the EP’s planned release in 2027, with the band describing its latest offering as a feminine-rage anthem. A western-inspired video for Wetter Than Revenge is also set to follow next week.
Co-writer and vocalist Eli says: “This song is our Billie Jean. We were almost too scared to release it into the world because we believe this song is so powerful. It’s an alt rock feminine rage anthem with a western-inspired music video – what’s not to love?”

A sharper edge ahead of the debut EP
Wetter Than Revenge follows earlier singles Midnight Murderess and Nerve, the latter of which arrived in July with an 80s-inspired video. The new track continues the group’s move towards punchier, hook-heavy alternative rock, with Eli, Cerys, Josh and Kian pushing a more confrontational sound.
Their debut EP, Let Loose & Join A Cult, is expected early next year. SerpentS’ first studio session as a band took place with members of Pale Waves and Pvris, resulting in an unreleased song that will feature on the record.
Manchester headline date confirmed
Before the EP lands, SerpentS will play their debut headline show at Manchester’s Soup on 14 November. The date follows support slots with Mouth Culture, Crawlers and Au/Ra, as well as the band’s recent run of headline and festival appearances.
