Steve Harris Brings British Lion Back for UK and Europe Run

British Lion Return in 2025 with European Dates and Full UK Headline Tour

British Lion, the powerhouse hard rock outfit led by Steve Harris of Iron Maiden, are back on the road in 2025. With a run of European shows locked in for the summer — including a special one-off UK date — and a major headline tour across the UK this winter, the band is gearing up for a year of high-voltage performances in both intimate clubs and iconic venues.

A highlight of the winter tour? A five-night residency at London’s Cart & Horses, the East London pub where Iron Maiden first took the stage — a sacred place in British metal lore.

Back to the Roots

“We’re really happy to be doing a number of European shows in the summer as well a more extensive tour of the UK at the end of the year,” says Harris. “It’s great to be able to return to The Booking Hall in Dover, which is our only UK summer show! It was under threat of closing last year but was saved with the support from British Lion and other music fans around the country!”

That single UK summer show — 3rd August at Dover’s Booking Hall — lands between festival slots and headline club dates across Spain, Portugal, Germany, and the Netherlands. From late November through to Christmas, the band will then crisscross the UK, finishing with five blistering nights in Stratford.

Celebrating 50 Years of Maiden

These Cart & Horses gigs carry extra weight: they arrive during Iron Maiden’s 50th anniversary year, bringing Harris full circle to the venue that started it all. With sold-out shows there in the past, British Lion are set to close out the year with fire and nostalgia in equal measure.

Special guest acts include Tony Moore’s Awake (Dover to Newcastle) and Stray (Bradford to London), giving fans even more reason to turn out early.
