Tropic Gold Return With New Single Witch House Featuring Harpy
Tropic Gold have returned with Witch House, a dark, volatile new single featuring Harpy and their first release with new label partner BLKIIBLK.
Arriving ahead of the Essex trio’s appearance at Download Festival next month, the track finds the band pushing further into their collision of metalcore, industrial noise, electronic production and modern alternative heaviness.
A Hex That Cannot Be Broken
Built around a sense of claustrophobic tension, Witch House explores the feeling of being consumed by something external and inescapable. The band frame the track as a story of emotional possession, where one person becomes trapped inside a relationship dynamic that feels impossible to escape.
The addition of Harpy sharpens that atmosphere further, bringing another layer of intensity to a track already loaded with distortion, pressure and unease.
Heavy Hooks And Industrial Static
Self-produced and creatively self-driven, Tropic Gold have built their reputation on songs that balance huge hooks with abrasive electronics and a constant sense of instability. Nothing sits still for long; their music feels wired, unpredictable and ready to rupture.
Following last year’s SICK TO DEATH OF EVERYTHING EP, the band’s newer material feels heavier, sharper and more immediate, leaning harder into contrast while keeping the melodic force that has helped them cut through.

Support from BBC Radio 1, Kerrang! and Rock Sound has helped push Tropic Gold beyond early underground attention, while tours with WARGASM, Resolve, Windwaker and Normandie have underlined their strength as a live band.
With Download Festival on the horizon and a stage headline slot at 2000trees Festival this summer, Tropic Gold are moving from ones-to-watch status into something more concrete: a band properly beginning to break through.
