Hollow Pact announce Sumerian Records signing and release new single Tear
HOLLOW PACT have confirmed their signing to Sumerian Records and marked the news with the release of a new single and official video, Tear. The hard rock outfit’s latest move lands with a sharper edge than a routine label announcement, pairing the new deal with a track that the band says sits “in the space between comfort and collapse”.
Fronted by Jager Henry, the band have framed the song as a study in erosion and attachment. “Tear” is described as “a broken reflection of attachment, erosion, and the weight of holding on to something for too long”, a line that neatly matches the track’s bruised emotional centre.

New label, new chapter, new single
Henry said the signing was long in the making, calling it “a dream come true” and adding that he was excited to begin the next stretch of the band’s run with Sumerian. For Hollow Pact, the release of Tear gives the label news an immediate payoff rather than leaving the announcement to stand on its own.
The single is accompanied by a music video, with both now available online. Stream Tear here.
Road dates already on the books
The new release is arriving alongside a busy live schedule. The band are set to hit the road with Royale Lynn in August, before joining Of Mice & Men from 19th to 21st November, keeping Tear in circulation as the signing settles in.
Jager Henry said: “This new chapter is truly a dream come true. To be signed to a label I looked up to and I also looked up to the artists on it. I’m excited for this journey and it’s up to the world now. Welcome to the Pact.”
