MESHUGGAH announce 40th anniversary tour ending at OVO Arena Wembley
MESHUGGAH will celebrate four decades as a band with a major European and UK headline run in autumn 2027.
Dubbed The Forty-Year Anomaly, the 20-date tour will take the Swedish metal veterans through arenas and large-scale rooms across the continent before concluding with two UK shows: Manchester’s Aviva Studios on 29 October and London’s OVO Arena Wembley on 30 October.
Periphery and Vildhjarta will join the tour as special guests, making for a three-band bill rooted in the more rhythmically adventurous end of modern metal.
A four-decade milestone
Formed in Umeå in 1987, Meshuggah’s 2027 dates mark 40 years since the band’s inception. The run begins in Copenhagen on 29 September and moves through Rotterdam, Cologne, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Munich, Paris, Dublin and more before reaching the UK.
The Wembley date is set to be the final night of the tour, bringing the anniversary celebrations to one of the band’s biggest British headline shows to date. Tickets will be available through an artist and O2 pre-sale from 3 November at 11am GMT, followed by venue and promoter pre-sales on 4 November. General sale begins on 6 November at 11am GMT.
