UK band Acres announce their 2026 The Host headline tour across the UK and Europe, marking their first headline run in three years alongside new album release.

Acres step back into the spotlight with ‘The Host’ tour

UK outfit Acres have announced their long-awaited return to the road with ‘The Host’ UK and EU headline tour, set to take place this Autumn. The run marks the band’s first headline outing in three years, signalling a new chapter built around their latest full-length release.

Kicking off in Bristol on October 14, the 18-date stretch will take the band across eight countries, bringing their emotionally charged and sonically expansive live show to fans throughout the UK and mainland Europe. Joining them on the road are special guests Wayside, What Lies Below and Lifespark.

A new era shaped by ‘The Host’

Acres’ third album, ‘The Host’, finds the quartet pushing deeper into their hybrid of soaring melody and crushing intensity. Written alongside Landon Tewers of The Plot In You, the record explores themes of addiction, dependency and the inescapable forces that pull people back in.

The band—Ben Lumber, Alex Freeman, Jack Rogers and Ash Scott—channel these ideas into a sound that balances infectious hooks with darker, more atmospheric textures.

“The Host represents a bold step in a new direction for us as a band,” says frontman Ben Lumber. “Working with Landon Tewers brought a fresh perspective and added a new flair to our sound that we’re really excited about.”

A band embracing evolution

With ‘The Host’, Acres continue their refusal to stand still. The record’s blend of visceral heaviness and sleek, modern production reflects a band fully committed to reinvention—without losing the emotional core that’s defined them from the start.

As they prepare to take these songs on the road, the upcoming tour feels less like a return and more like a reintroduction.
