AVATAR Plot Grand Return with 2026 European & UK Headline Tour
Valentine’s Night in London Promises a Fiery New Chapter
The circus is back in town—and this time it’s bigger, darker, and more theatrical than ever. Swedish metal spectacle AVATAR have announced an expansive European headline tour for 2026, with the promise of a brand-new live production that will mark the band’s most ambitious stage show yet. A special Valentine’s night show in London sets the tone for what frontman Johannes Eckerström describes as a tour designed to “break every record and boundary of our past travels.”
Before launching into their headlining circuit, AVATAR will spend the summer of 2025 supporting Iron Maiden across Europe, delivering their signature blend of heavy metal and theatrical performance to stadiums and festivals. This run will serve as a warm-up to a Halloween blowout in Mexico City, titled Noche De Brujas, that previews their new production ahead of a global takeover.
From Stockholm to Bilbao, and everywhere in between, AVATAR are set to celebrate over two decades of metal mayhem with a setlist spanning their entire career. The tour will feature Eckerström and his long-time collaborators—John Alfredsson, Jonas Jarlsby, Henrik Sandelin, and Tim Öhrström—unleashing their full creative force.
The UK will receive a particularly dramatic chapter of the tour, with a Valentine’s Night performance at London’s Exhibition, a venue housed within a Grade II listed architectural gem.
Tickets go on sale Friday April 25 at 10am local time via avatarmetal.com.
