2000trees Drops Full 2025 Headliner Lineup in One Massive Announcement
Alexisonfire, PVRIS, Kneecap, Taking Back Sunday, and Coheed And Cambria to Headline
For the first time in its history, 2000trees Festival has unveiled all five main stage headliners at once, nine months ahead of the 2025 event. Set to return to Upcote Farm near Cheltenham from 9–12 July 2025, the beloved independent rock festival has never gone bigger—or earlier—with its announcements.
Saturday’s closer will be Alexisonfire, making their long-overdue 2000trees debut. The Ontario post-hardcore legends are set to bring their explosive, emotionally charged live show to UK soil once again. As George from the band put it: “Let it be known, by the time we are done playing there will be significantly less trees.”
Joining them across the weekend will be four other main stage co-headliners, each bringing their own unique energy:
- Thursday will see Kneecap, the politically charged Irish hip hop trio, and Massachusetts alt-pop powerhouse PVRIS, take dual headline slots. This marks the first UK festival headline appearance for both.
- Friday’s stage will be co-headlined by two titans of New York’s alternative scene: the swaggering emo veterans Taking Back Sunday and the progressive storytelling epicness of Coheed And Cambria—both also making their 2000trees debut.
More Acts, More Debuts, More Chaos
This isn’t just a headliner drop—today’s announcement features over 50 bands, blending long-awaited reunions with breakout stars.
One of the most buzzworthy returns is Million Dead, the Frank Turner-fronted UK hardcore outfit who haven’t graced a stage together in over a decade. They’ll be joined by fan favourites Kid Kapichi, punk icons FIDLAR, and post-hardcore stalwarts La Dispute.
Elsewhere, the 2025 lineup promises genre-defying chaos, with acts like:
- RØRY – rising UK solo force
- DZ Deathrays – dance-punk mayhem from Brisbane
- Spaced and GEL – East Coast US hardcore powerhouses
- Employed To Serve – modern UK metal at its finest
- Bambie Thug – Eurovision contender turned genre-bending icon
- Queen Cult, VENUS GRRRLS, and Spyres – part of a fiercely exciting wave of UK alt-rock
