SNAYX unveil euphoric new single Nice Day 4 It ahead of autumn UK shows
SNAYX have released their new single Nice Day 4 It, a jagged but hook-heavy alt-punk track that finds the Brighton trio pairing festival-sized chant-along ambition with a bleaker sense of emotional freefall.
Out now through the band’s new label, Nettwerk Music Group, the single follows Brain Cellz and arrives as SNAYX continue work on their debut album. While the previous release took aim at social division and moral posturing, Nice Day 4 It narrows its focus to burnout, self-destruction and the strange relief of deciding not to fight the spiral.
The band said: “It’s a summer song, but lost in its own melancholy, in its own weird way. It’s about that headspace where self-destruction stops feeling like a problem and starts feeling more like just another day. Feelings get filed away for a future version of yourself to deal with. Your mate texts. You go again.
“When the spiral begins to spin so rapidly out of control, you eventually end up in motion and before you know it, you’re actually rolling. There’s something almost freeing in the dissonance. Like once you stop trying to hold it together, the pressure’s off. It’s not quite nihilism, but there’s definitely a sense of: everyone’s a bit fucked, the world’s a bit fucked, so why not make a nice day of it?”
A bright hook with a darker undercurrent
That tension runs through Nice Day 4 It: its oversized chorus and propulsive riffs carry the kind of immediate release built for a packed room, while the lyric’s outlook is considerably less sunny. It is a brisk, combustible addition to the band’s recent run of singles, retaining their abrasive edge without sacrificing melody.

Autumn dates include Yonaka support slots
SNAYX will take the new single on the road across the UK and Ireland through August, September and October. The run includes festival appearances at Beautiful Days and Lindisfarne Festival, followed by a string of dates supporting Yonaka, as well as headline shows in London and Brighton.
