TX2 Releases Cathartic New Single Confession
Fast-rising alternative phenomenon TX2 has returned with a huge new single, ‘Confession’, a deeply personal and emotionally charged anthem that sees bassist Corky stepping forward vocally alongside Evan Thomas.
The track arrives ahead of a packed run of UK and European festival appearances this summer, including Download Festival, Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park, Rock For People, NovaRock, Graspop, Jera On Air and Vainstream.

A song about reclaiming power
Following the release of TX2’s debut album End Of Us earlier this year, ‘Confession’ pushes further into the band’s blend of raw confession, explosive hooks and outsider defiance. The track is described as a moment of release for both Thomas and Corky, confronting the shame, fear and inner conflict that can come from growing up queer in religious environments.
Evan Thomas says the song was born from his own experience of struggling with sexuality and faith, while Corky’s connection to the track runs even deeper, turning ‘Confession’ into one of TX2’s most vulnerable releases to date.
Building a movement
TX2’s rise has been anything but quiet. With more than 4.29 million social media followers, over 1 million monthly Spotify listeners and a sold-out debut UK headline tour behind them, the project has become one of alternative music’s most disruptive new forces.
That momentum has been amplified by high-profile collaborations and co-signs. Beartooth’s Caleb Shomo has praised TX2’s drive and talent, while tracks featuring Ice Nine Kills’ Spencer Charnas, From First To Last, Black Veil Brides, DeathbyRomy, Ekoh and Magnolia Park have helped cement the project’s place in the modern rock conversation.
Beyond the songs, TX2 has also built the X Movement, a Discord-based fan community focused on mental health support, safer spaces and LGBTQ+ advocacy.
