The Molotovs have confirmed a 2026 UK tour in support of their debut album Wasted On Youth, due January 30 via Marshall Records. The brother-sister pair—Matthew and Issey Cartlidge—will bring their fierce, high-energy sound to grassroots venues around the country, kicking off in Glasgow and finishing in Liverpool.

Announced today, the ‘Wasted On Youth’ tour will spotlight independent venues, a cause the band say is central to their beginnings. “We’re doing this to stand with grassroots venues that help keep music alive,” said frontman Matthew Cartlidge. “We want to make sure we’re playing all of those vital independent stages that keep new talent coming through.”

The tour comes hot on the heels of a milestone moment: their sold-out, 1,500-capacity headline show at London’s Electric Ballroom in October. Despite having just two singles out at the time, The Molotovs delivered a set that critics hailed as “youth, passion and a refusal to concede to apathy” (Music News, ★★★★★). Punk In Focus called them “the future of British Rock.”

That sentiment appears to be catching. Iggy Pop recently handpicked the band to support his U.S. shows, and The Molotovs will also join YUNGBLUD on his upcoming arena dates.

Their most recent release, Rhythm Of Yourself, notched their third consecutive Top 3 single on the physical chart, reinforcing a rapid ascent few new acts can match.
