Orianthi Brings New Album to Life on Upcoming UK Tour with James Bruner

“Its title, on a deeper level, makes us think about the kind of attention we’ve been paying to the singer/songwriter and virtuoso electric guitarist over the past 20 years.”

Orianthi’s January Tour Rolls Out with Sold-Out Leeds Show

Following the release of her electrifying new album Some Kind of Feeling, guitar virtuoso and powerhouse vocalist Orianthi is heading to the UK this January for a string of headline shows. The tour includes a now sold-out concert at Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club on Wednesday, January 28th, signalling a strong demand for one of rock’s most formidable female artists.

Joining her as special guest on all dates—excluding her appearance at Planet Rock’s Winter’s End festival—is rising talent James Bruner.

New Album Some Kind of Feeling Out Now

Released digitally via Woodward Avenue Records on June 27th, Some Kind of Feeling is now available across all formats here. The record features ten tracks that swing from blues-inflected burners to radio-ready anthems, including the searing current single “Attention”, now streaming everywhere.

Orianthi – Attention

Orianthi herself produced three tracks on the album—“First Time Blues” (featuring Joe Bonamassa), “Ghost”, and “Bad For Each Other”—while the rest of the album, including the title track and “Attention,” was produced by rock heavyweight Kevin “The Caveman” Shirley (Beth Hart, Joe Bonamassa, Joanne Shaw Taylor).

Decades of Fire, A New Phase of Freedom

“Attention,” the lead single, is a fiery kiss-off to an ex who just won’t quit drunk-texting—but it also doubles as a not-so-subtle reminder of the world-class talent that is Orianthi. Despite decades of attention for her collaborations with Alice Cooper, Dave Stewart, and Michael Jackson, her solo output continues to carve out a lane of its own.

Her 2009 gold-selling debut Believe gave us the hit single “According to You”, but her new material finds her pushing even further—stylishly blending blues, pop, and modern rock with unmatched guitar chops and bold songwriting.
