ArcTanGent Festival 2026 completes its full and final line up
19/20/21/22 August – Fernhill Farm, Bristol
The much-loved, award-winning ArcTanGent Festival returns to Fernhill Farm near Bristol this August, and the full and final band line up for 2026 is now locked in. As ever, the independent heavy music institution pulls together a boundary-pushing celebration of rock, metal, doom, psych, math rock, post rock, folk, avant-garde and everything thrilling in between.
The final announcement brings with it the unmistakable presence of Cardiacs, cult chaos merchants The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, Danish blackgaze force MØL, the haunting A.A. Williams, Bristol genre-blenders Scaler, a live silent disco set from Battlesnake, rising UK punks Witch Fever and a welcome return for Youthmovies.
They join a towering bill already stacked with headliners Primus, Chelsea Wolfe, and Cult of Luna & Julie Christmas performing Mariner, alongside Igorrr, Sikth, Arcane Roots, Napalm Death, Perturbator, High On Fire, Maruja, Chat Pile, Alcest, Oathbreaker, Nordic Giants, Agent Fresco, TTNG, Eivør, Svalbard, Conjurer, Jamie Lenman, Pupil Slicer and many more.
The final additions
Among the most talked-about inclusions are Kingston legends Cardiacs, whose recent return and renewed acclaim have only heightened anticipation. The ever-unpredictable The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza make their first ever UK appearance, while Youthmovies’ reunion continues to delight long-time devotees.
Elsewhere, MØL bring their immersive blackgaze catharsis, A.A. Williams delivers her stark, emotionally charged songwriting, and Scaler fly the flag for Bristol’s restless experimental underground. Battlesnake’s live silent disco set promises something uniquely ArcTanGent, while Witch Fever underline the festival’s ongoing commitment to vital new voices.
Festival organiser James Scarlett calls it the event’s “best-selling year”, with a sell-out firmly on the horizon.
