Lambrini Girls tear into power and spectacle on new single ‘Cult of Celebrity’
Brighton duo Lambrini Girls are back with another blast of razor-wire punk. Their new single, ‘Cult of Celebrity’, arrives as a feral, full-throttle swipe at the rot behind wealth, status and untouchable power, turning outrage into something fast, funny and deeply corrosive.

Made up of Phoebe Lunny on vocals and guitar and Selin Macieira on bass, Lambrini Girls have built their name on songs that hit like thrown bricks but still leave room for wit. ‘Cult of Celebrity’ keeps that streak alive. From the opening riff, it barrels forward with the kind of sneering momentum that makes their music feel less like polite protest and more like an open confrontation.
A vicious new anthem
The band describe the track in characteristically unfiltered terms, framing it as a takedown of the rich and powerful figures whose abuses have increasingly been dragged into public view. It is a nasty, thrilling piece of work, driven by thrashing guitars and a sense that Lambrini Girls are not interested in subtlety when blunt force will do the job better.

The release also comes with a new video directed by London filmmaker Harv Frost, whose previous work includes visuals for The Last Dinner Party and Laufey. It gives the single an extra layer of theatrical bite, matching the song’s chaos with a suitably confrontational visual edge.

Momentum keeps building
Lambrini Girls have spent the last few years becoming one of the most talked-about live bands in British punk, and their rise only accelerated with 2025 debut album Who Let The Dogs Out. The record pushed them further into the global spotlight, pairing raw nerve with enough hooks to leave a mark long after the noise died down.

That album helped open the floodgates. Magazine covers, industry buzz and praise from major names followed, while the band’s reputation for turning gigs into beautifully volatile communal experiences kept spreading. Their appeal has always lived in that friction: sharp political teeth, huge personality, and songs that feel made to be shouted back from a packed room.
A stacked year on the road
The duo are set for an enormous run of 2026 dates, with appearances at Coachella, Bearded Theory, Dot To Dot, Primavera Sound, Warped Tour, 2000trees, Boardmasters and more. It is the sort of schedule that confirms what many already suspected: Lambrini Girls are no longer a word-of-mouth favourite, but a band moving at serious international speed.
