BABYMETAL Mark Fox Day With a 2026 World Tour and Expanded METAL FORTH

“With over fifteen years of history and a diehard international following, BABYMETAL isn’t just a band — they’re a movement redefining what heavy music looks and sounds like.”

BABYMETAL 2026

BABYMETAL have used Fox Day to do what they do best: go big. The J-metal phenomenon has announced a 2026 world tour across North America and Latin America, while also confirming METAL FORTH (Deluxe Edition) for release on 26 June 2026 via Capitol Records.

For the North American run, the trio will be joined by Halestorm and Violent Vira, adding even more muscle to a tour already built for arena-sized impact. The announcement lands just ahead of BABYMETAL’s much-hyped Main Stage appearance at Download Festival 2026, where they are set to bring their futuristic spectacle to Donington Park in June.

A bigger version of METAL FORTH

The deluxe edition of METAL FORTH arrives in digital and vinyl formats, with the vinyl featuring a zoetrope design that animates ten icons from the record in motion. It also expands the original release with three live recordings and two remixes of the standout single “from me to u (feat. Poppy)”, courtesy of Major Lazer and Jordan Fish.

Originally released last year, METAL FORTH marked a major commercial breakthrough for the band. It debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, giving BABYMETAL their first US Top 10 album, while the record also racked up more than 200 million global streams and sold 36,000 equivalent album units in its first week.

The album’s momentum stretched well beyond the US. It hit No. 10 on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut US chart and No. 2 on the US iTunes Download Album chart, while in Japan it opened at No. 1 on the Oricon Rock Chart, No. 1 on the Digital Albums Chart, and No. 3 on the overall Oricon chart. Elsewhere, it landed in the Top 10 in Germany and broke into the Top 20 in the UK, continuing the group’s steady rise from cult favourite to global heavy-music force.

Presale details

Tickets for the US and Canada will first be available through an artist presale beginning Monday 6 April at 10am local time. Fans can sign up until 5 April. A Citi presale also starts on 6 April, with more presales running through the week before the general sale opens on Friday 10 April at 10am local time.

Still redefining the genre

Formed in 2010, BABYMETAL have spent the last decade and a half tearing up expectations as much as stages. Their fusion of idol-pop precision and metal bombast once felt like an outrageous curveball; now it feels like a blueprint others are still trying to catch up with.

Fronted by SU-METAL, MOAMETAL and MOMOMETAL, the group’s rise has never just been about novelty. It is about scale, vision, and a refusal to play by anybody else’s rules. Whether sharing bills with metal titans or dominating festival stages, BABYMETAL continue to expand the shape of what heavy music can be.
