Shooting Daggers share tour diary video for T.R.L.T

“We wanted to capture some of the good moments we had as a band so far, highlighting the wonderful people we met on our path, the beautiful cities we visited and the ecstatic energy that only playing on a stage can give you.”

Shooting Daggers document three years on the road in their new T.R.L.T video

Shooting Daggers have unveiled a new video for T.R.L.T, the latest single lifted from their June mini-album The Real Life Thing.

The London punk trio’s new clip takes a deliberately unfussy behind-the-scenes approach, assembling footage from recording sessions, tours and shows spanning the past three years. It captures the band’s life in transit: packed rooms, unfamiliar cities, friends met along the way and the communal charge of the stage.

The band describe T.R.L.T as “an invite to keep focusing on what’s real and tangible, genuine relationships with people, animals and the planet.”

Explaining the video’s concept, Shooting Daggers said: “We wanted a good old tour and recording BTS video. We wanted to capture some of the good moments we had as a band so far, highlighting the wonderful people we met on our path, the beautiful cities we visited and the ecstatic energy that only playing on a stage can give you and lastly the love we have for each other as band members that goes beyond simple friendship.

“You can find snippets of tours and moments as old as three years ago right up to last summer. It’s such a privilege to be able to look back and realise how lucky we’ve been and how far in the world hard work can take you.”

The Real Life Thing arrived via New Heavy Sounds in June, following 2024’s Love & Rage. Recorded at Bear Bites Horse Studio with Wayne Adams, the seven-track release features appearances from The Menstrual Cramps and Dennis Lyxzén of Refused, who guests on the previous single Glow.

The mini-album is available on limited shiny black vinyl and digitally; order the physical edition here.
