Skids and Theatre Of Hate set 36-date UK run for autumn and winter 2026

Skids and Theatre Of Hate will take their long-running punk and post-punk catalogues around the UK this autumn and winter on a newly announced co-headline tour.

The extensive run begins at Southampton’s Engine Rooms on Tuesday 20 October and continues through England, Scotland and Wales before closing at Lincoln Drill on Sunday 13 December. Although announced as a 32-date tour, the itinerary currently lists 36 shows.

The pairing follows the 2024 UK dates that saw Skids share bills with Theatre Of Hate frontman Kirk Brandon’s other band, Spear Of Destiny. This time, both groups will headline, drawing from records that helped define their respective corners of the late-1970s and early-1980s underground.

Skids frontman Richard Jobson said: “We’re off on tour again with one of my favourite bands again Theatre of Hate… I just feel that the way things and in the overall scheme of things, this is going to be a great night out. Skids. Theatre of Hate. A cracking night out. I’m really looking forward to it.”
