Tomorrow’s Ghosts Festival unveils Anja Huwe, New Model Army and Chameleons for 2027

Tomorrow’s Ghosts Festival will return to Whitby Pavilion over Halloween weekend in 2027, with Anja Huwe, New Model Army and Chameleons leading a newly announced bill.

Set for Friday 29 October to Sunday 31 October, the Whitby gathering will once again bring its live programme, late-night club events and alternative market to the Yorkshire coast. Friday’s live line-up will be headlined by Huwe, whose set marks a rare UK appearance from the former Xmal Deutschland vocalist.

Chameleons will join the Friday bill for a full performance of their 1983 album Script of the Bridge, while David J is set to revisit Love and Rockets’ Earth. Sun. Moon., alongside selections from across his catalogue. Goth-punk quartet Mouth Ulcers complete the opening night’s announced live acts.

New Model Army close Saturday’s bill

Saturday 30 October will see New Model Army headline the Pavilion, marking the band’s first Tomorrow’s Ghosts appearance in more than four years. It will be their third time topping the festival bill.

They will be joined by Heartworms, whose jagged post-punk and darkwave-leaning songs have become a formidable live proposition, as well as French gothic rock outfit Corpus Delicti and Glasgow electronic darkwave project Mercy Girl.

Beyond the main-stage sets, Carpe Noctum will return to host the after-show club nights, while the Gothic and Alternative Market is also confirmed to take place throughout the weekend. Further events are due to be announced.
