Hot off a triumphant headline slot on the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading and Leeds Festival this summer, feminist rage queen and Brat Punk princess Delilah Bon has unleashed her ferocious second album, Evil, Hate Filled Female. The 14-track, self-produced project includes the newly released focus track, “I Am The Best (Just Ask Your Momma),” a fierce anthem of defiance aimed squarely at her online detractors.

Confronting the Haters

Speaking about the track, Delilah shared, “This is a song I wrote about my online haters… their engagement pushing them even more in the algorithm. It’s about how certain men online perceive me, how they despise everything I stand for, lyrically addressing their obsession and pointing out that their Mommas would probably love what I do. It’s a middle finger to all those that have demonized me online.”

With her unapologetic attitude, Delilah has crafted a sonic manifesto, turning adversity into art. “I Am The Best (Just Ask Your Momma)” follows earlier album singles, including the title track “Evil, Hate Filled Female,” as well as “Volatile,” “The Internet,” “Finally See Me,” and “Maverick.” Each track offers a glimpse into Delilah’s powerful narrative of self-empowerment and resistance.

A Villain’s Anthem

Crafting imaginative stories with grit and bite, Delilah Bon’s latest release is not only an artistic triumph but a personal one. With complete creative control as an independent artist, she dives deep into themes of escapism and social commentary. “It’s about turning the tables on hate and reclaiming our power,” she says. “We are truly in our villain era and this album is our soundtrack.”

The Rise of a Trailblazer

Delilah Bon’s signature blend of hip-hop, nu-metal, and riot grrrl ethos has garnered attention across the industry. Her 2023 performance at Glastonbury earned her critical praise from Kerrang! and landed her on their Sound of 2024 list. She’s also been featured in Clash magazine, Metal Hammer, and made appearances on French national TV shows, solidifying her status as a genre-defying force.

Her second album, Evil, Hate Filled Female, is available now on her own label. This release, alongside a packed touring schedule and media appearances, proves 2024 is shaping up to be Delilah Bon’s year.
