WREX Releases Nu-Metal Inspired Single ‘Take a Walk’
Brighton-Based Duo’s Latest Track from Upcoming EP ‘This Hell Goes a Long Way Down’
Brighton’s dynamic duo, WREX, has just released their new single and music video for ‘Take a Walk’. This nu-metal-inspired track is the third single from their highly anticipated EP, This Hell Goes a Long Way Down, set for release on 16th August. The EP was engineered and produced by guitarist George Donoghue, known for his work with Cassyette, Harpy, River Becomes Ocean and Orchards.
Dual Vocalists’ Insight on ‘Take a Walk’
On their latest single, George and Mae shared their thoughts:
“‘Take a Walk’ is like going out and getting fucked up, and leaving a voicemail to yourself about all the things you hate about yourself. There is an angel and a devil at play in the lyrics; one voice is the embodiment of all those negative characteristics, and the other is at war with it to save you from becoming that person, and from digging your own grave.”

To celebrate the release of their upcoming EP, WREX will embark on a headline tour across the UK this August.
