CALL OF THE WILD FESTIVAL 2022

CALL OF THE WILD FESTIVAL TAKES PLACE 19TH TILL 22ND MAY 2022

It’s less than two weeks to go until the Call Of The Wild Festival is finally set to howl again and shake the foundations of the Lincolnshire Showground. If you’ve not got your tickets yet then what are you waiting for?

This independent festival has curated a lineup of some stellar hard rockin’ acts performing over the four days of the event. Headliners on the main KILMISTER stage are TREATMENT, MASSIVE WAGONS, RECKLESS LOVE and PHIL CAMBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS but that’s not all as their SOUTHALL LAWLESS STAGE has its fair share of hard hitters with SOUTH OF SALEM, RICKY WARICK AND THE FIGHTING HEARTS, CRASH DITE and MIDNITE CITY.

You can check out the full lineup below.

The Lancashire band, who hit the UK Top 10 with 2020 album ‘House Of Noise’, are to use pyro for the first time, bringing Friday night’s festivities to a suitably explosive end during their slot on May 20th. “We’ve seen the production and can assure you that you will not see a bigger show this year from the band,” Call Of The Wild stated on its social media. “Don’t wait till you see the photos/videos and wish you were there!”

Speaking to Planet Rock, festival booker Raz White added: “We spoke with their production team the other day and it is very much the band’s first step towards reaching the next level. Lots of fire and pyro! I am seriously excited. This is the show they plan to take out in 2023, so it is very much an exclusive for Call Of The Wild.”

The festival runs over four days from Thursday, May 19th until Sunday 22nd. Around 70 bands will perform across three stages. Among those joining Massive Wagons for the event are glam rockers Reckless Love and Crashdiet – both making relatively rare appearances in the UK – plus Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons, Ricky Warwick, manic metallists Raging Speedhorn and numerous rising stars including the hotly-tipped These Wicked Rivers and Florence Black.

Having conclusively overcome what it describes as “the soul-destroying challenges” of rescheduling the event four times due to the pandemic, the organisers have reached out to thank both fans and the industry for its support. White adds: “There was solidarity within the industry like never before. So many wonderful people that also recognise our passion and willingness to overcome any and all obstacles.”

The festival is being held at Lincolnshire Showground, Grange de Lings, Lincoln.  It is a stunning location and you can find out more about it on their official website.
