LOUD WOMEN Fest NYC Drops Full Lineup for Debut Brooklyn Blowout

“LOUD WOMEN is about amplifying voices that don’t get heard nearly enough — and this NYC debut is going to be loud in all the right ways.”

LOUD WOMEN Fest NYC Announces Full Lineup for 2025 Debut

London’s feminist music juggernaut, LOUD WOMEN, is officially crossing the Atlantic. The final lineup is locked and loaded for the inaugural LOUD WOMEN Fest NYC, taking place on Saturday, 10 May 2025, at 3 Dollar Bill, Brooklyn’s home for all things bold, loud, and boundary-breaking.

From London’s DIY Roots to Brooklyn’s Main Stage

After a decade of championing female and non-binary voices in the UK punk and indie scenes, LOUD WOMEN is making its first-ever US landing. This New York edition brings the spirit of the festival’s London legacy — gritty, unapologetic, and grassroots — into the heart of Brooklyn.

Known for launching breakout acts like Nova Twins, Big Joanie, and Lambrini Girls, LOUD WOMEN Fest has become a beacon of the global DIY movement. Following the success of its 2024 Australian debut in Melbourne, the New York edition marks the next milestone for the collective.

The 2025 Brooklyn Lineup

The full NYC bill is packed with genre-pushing acts from both sides of the Atlantic. Here’s who’s hitting the stage:

  • Dubais (UK)
  • I, Doris (UK)
  • Choked Up
  • Desert Sharks
  • Eevie Echoes & The Locations
  • Ro Redfern
  • ShyGodwin
  • Slut Magic
  • Sorry Darling
  • Typhoid Rosie
  • Yacko

Choked Up

NYC-based pop-punk powerhouse, serving up fiery riffs, heartfelt bilingual lyrics, and anthems packed with raw emotion! They blew us away with their high-energy sets and telenovela-style storytelling, blending East Bay punk with Latinx pop. A sound that’s equal parts urgent and cathartic, we can’t wait to catch them tearing up the stage!

Choked Up – Tragic Bullshit

Desert Sharks

Brooklyn-based grunge punks , known for their heavy riffs, soaring vocals, and high-energy performances! They first wowed us at LOUD WOMEN Fest London in 2023, and they feature on our LOUD WOMEN Volume 6 compilation album, so we can’t wait to see them on their home turf.

Dubais

“It’s like if Ata Kak and Saint Etienne went to an Egyptian Lover show and smoked a lot of weed with Minnie Mouse” Dubais is the perpetually changing transmedia post genre band from artist, post diasporic theorist, and international art punk chameleon Dr. Nadia Buyse. Nadia is also the singer/ guitarist for UK supergroup and LOUD WOMEN Fest London 2022 alumnus Snoozers, who blew the roof off supporting Bikini Kill last year.

Dubais

Eevie Echoes & The Locations

Brooklyn queercore punks bringing fierce activism, raw power, pure emotion, and radical authenticity. They say, “Our mission is to provide space for the queer folks who don’t feel accepted or loved in their day to day lives and who need a place to exist where they feel seen, cared for and appreciated for exactly who they are.” We can’t wait to meet them!

Eevie Echoes & The Locations

I, Doris

It wouldn’t be a LOUD WOMEN Fest without I, Doris, let’s face it. These mummycore kitchenpunks (Doris, Doris, Doris and Doris) are the LOUD WOMEN house band, and also our organisational team. They bring poppy punk soundtracks to their personal/political struggles like accessing perimenopausal healthcare, queer dating, doing the schoolrun, existing over 40, or having a wank. The New York audience will understand very little of their hyperlocal South London specific jokes, but they’ll have a lovely time, sure.

I, Doris

Ro Redfern

NYC’s folk-punk storyteller, blending raw emotion with sharp, melodic songwriting! A key force behind LOUD WOMEN’s organizational team, Ro Redfern has not only graced stages from East Village to London but also helped amplify feminist punk on both sides of the Atlantic. Whether delivering stripped-down ballads or rousing anthems, their music is packed with honesty and urgency—we can’t wait to hear what’s next!

Ro Redfern

ShyGodwin

With driving riffs and explosive vocals, ShyGodwin is a hardcore-punk band from Philadephia melting faces with their high energy live performances. Their mission: world domination and inclusive mosh pits. They blew our tiny minds when they played at LOUD WOMEN Fest London 2023 – we love them so much!

Shygodwin

Slut Magic

Brooklyn’s spellbinding indie punks, weaving gritty riffs, hypnotic vocals, and darkwave energy into their electrifying performances! They’ve wowed us at LOUD WOMEN events in both London and NYC, casting their signature blend of grunge, garage pop, and raw emotion. With tracks that hit like a potion of angst and allure, we can’t wait to see them conjure their magic on stage again!

Slut Magic

Sorry Darling

NYC power pop darlings. They say “Our songs are designed to address relationship woes that transcend any specific demographic. Love both heals and hurts everyone, and we try to get that across!” These epic scenesters are helping LOUD WOMEN to organise the event – what dolls!

Sorry Darling

Typhoid Rosie

High-energy, sing-along 90s style power punk with pop hooks and indie grit out of Brooklyn. They promise comedy, philosophy, and storytelling, songs about unapologetic self-loving, f-bombs, cutting motherfuckers out of your life, homemade remedies for yeast infections, dogs, witch-hunts, energy vampires, exorcisms, Hollywood circle jerks, fight or flight battles, loving beyond the grave, and plenty of spicy musical sauce to wake you the fuck up.

Typhoid Rosie

Yacko

Indonesian hip-hop trailblazer Yacko delivers razor-sharp rhymes and electrifying performances that challenge societal norms and advocate for gender equality. Her dynamic presence at LOUD WOMEN Fest London 2024 left audiences in awe, as she seamlessly blended activism with artistry, addressing issues like sexual harassment through powerful tracks such as ‘Hands Off’. Beyond the stage, Yacko is a dedicated educator and a driving force behind movements empowering women in music. We can’t wait to witness her continue breaking barriers and inspiring change!
