Swedish high-energy rock ‘n’ roll legends, The Hellacopters, are back with a bang! They have just dropped their brand new single ‘Stay With You’ via Nuclear Blast Records, marking their first original release since their chart-topping comeback album, Eyes Of Oblivion, in April 2022.
A Rock ‘n’ Roll Revival
‘Stay With You’ delivers everything fans have come to love from The Hellacopters: pure, unadulterated rock energy. The music video, directed and edited by Emil Klinta, captures the band’s signature style and intensity. The single, described by frontman Nicke Andersson as “a straight-up minor key rocker,” serves as a teaser while the band works on their upcoming full-length album.
“We’re in the middle of recording our new full-length album which has no date of release just yet. In the meantime, we’re very excited about the release of our new single ‘Stay With You’. It was originally intended to be included on the upcoming LP but we decided to do a Beatles and release it as a standalone track with a B-side. ‘Stay With You’ is a straight-up minor key rocker and it’s backed with our interpretation of The Cure’s ‘Fire In Cairo’. We hope you dig,” said Nicke Andersson.
Limited Edition 7” Single
In addition to the digital release, ‘Stay With You’ will also be available as a limited edition 7” single via Lightning Records. The B-side features a cover of The Cure’s ‘Fire In Cairo’, adding a unique twist for collectors and fans.

The Hellacopters’ Triumphant Return
Since their reunion, The Hellacopters have been on an unstoppable trajectory. Their 2022 album Eyes Of Oblivion topped the charts in Sweden and garnered critical acclaim across Europe. Following this success, the band played high-profile shows, including a memorable performance with Iron Maiden in Gothenburg and gigs with Ghost in Germany.
In February 2024, they re-released their classic album Grande Rock on physical formats, featuring additional guitar, piano, and vocal tracks in a companion piece titled Grande Rock Revisited.
