“DEAR GOD is the most honest record we’ve ever made. Every song came from a real place, whether I wanted to admit it or not.”

The Pretty Reckless release Dear God and line up a 2026 world tour

The Pretty Reckless have released their fifth studio album Dear God today via Fearless Records, with the record arriving alongside an extensive 2026 tour that ends at Glasgow’s Barrowland on 3 December. Stream the album here.

Produced by Taylor Momsen, Ben Phillips and Jonathan Wyman, Dear God takes the band’s hard-rock framework and pushes it into darker, more exposed territory. The album foregrounds songs such as About You, Love Me and When I Wake Up, with themes of loss, faith, resilience, love and redemption running through the set.

The release follows the momentum of When I Wake Up, which recently became the band’s ninth No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. Momsen said the album came from a particularly unguarded place.

Dear God is the most honest record we’ve ever made. Every song came from a real place, whether I wanted to admit it or not. There was no hiding behind characters or concepts this time,” she said. “It’s all there…the doubt, the anger, the hope, the questions. We made the record we needed to make, and I’m incredibly proud of it.”

Songs that cut straight to the bone

The 14-track album opens and closes with the Life Evermore parts, while the title track, For I Am Death and Devil in Disguise (Michelle’s Song) sit alongside the more bruised, reflective cuts. The full track listing runs:

  1. Life Evermore Pt. 2
  2. For I Am Death
  3. When I Wake Up
  4. Love Me
  5. Dragonfire
  6. Dear God
  7. Life Evermore Pt. 3
  8. About You
  9. Spell On You
  10. Rollercoaster of Life
  11. Eye of the Storm
  12. Devil in Disguise (Michelle’s Song)
