Massive Wagons Announce Seventh Album ‘Earth To Grace’ and Release Powerful New Single “Missing On TV”

“The chorus is huge! It was a real pleasure working on this in detail with Matt – everyone put in a shift and made this one a Wagons classic.” – Barry “Baz” Mills

Lancaster’s rock ruffians, Massive Wagons, are back with their seventh studio album, Earth To Grace, along with a blistering new single and video, “Missing On TV.” Always hard at work, the band uses “Missing On TV” to rail against the government’s relentless exploitation of the common man, delivering a no-nonsense anthem filled with arena-filling drums, a lighter-waving chorus, and meaty guitar riffs.

Frontman Speaks Out

Frontman Barry “Baz” Mills states, “The song’s about the government, all sides just milking the rest of us to fund their lifestyle. They have zero shame, zero accountability, and zero remorse about stamping all over the common man. We are washed away out to sea, missing on TV. It’s an age-old message, but more relevant now than in a long, long time.”

Collaboration with Matt O’Grady

Teaming up with producer Matt O’Grady (You Me At Six, Architects, Don Broco) for Earth To Grace, the band feels this collaboration was the right move. Mills adds, “This track is in all of our Top 3 album songs – the chorus is huge! It was a real pleasure working on this in detail with Matt – everyone put in a shift and made this one a Wagons classic.”

Anticipation and Inspiration

Following their previous album, Triggered! – which reached #6 in the UK Top 40 Album chart – Earth To Grace promises to deliver the anthemic power and punk spirit that fans love, with added stardust propelling the band to new creative heights. The album draws inspiration from a range of sources, including the sad passing of Sinéad O’Connor, the movie Sound Of Freedom, the TikTok algorithm, and ’80s TV shows like Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors and Cities Of Gold.

Mills reflects, “People ask after every album is written and recorded, ‘Is this your best one yet?’ It’s a question I don’t like answering. All I can say is that we could not be happier with what we’ve created. We took a brave step with a new producer, and Matt’s input on melodies and arrangement was invaluable.”
