London’s own rock legends, The Libertines, have announced an epic homecoming concert at Gunnersbury Park on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Taking the stage alongside very special guests Supergrass, this one-night-only show promises to bring a lineup stacked with talent. The bill also includes the rowdy punk duo Soft Play, East End troubadour Hak Baker, Brighton’s explosive Lambrini Girls, and Dutch garage punks Real Farmer.
Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday, November 8, at 10 AM via Ticketmaster.
“A Good Ol’ Homecoming Knees-Up”
In true Libertines style, the band shared the news with a humorous announcement video. Reflecting on their chosen venue, frontmen Peter Doherty and Carl Barât shared: “The old white mansion in Gunnersbury Park is in one of our favourite films, The Lavender Hill Mob, so we thought we’d bring the Eastern Esplanade mob and some spiky guitars to that Arcadian glade in West London for a good ol’ homecoming knees-up.” Fans can expect a full-force celebration from the band as they return to London, freshly energized by the success of their recent album, All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade, which soared to No. 1 on the UK charts this past April.
Supergrass Return to the Stage
Celebrated for 30 years as a cornerstone of 90s Britpop, Supergrass join the lineup, fresh from their own 30th-anniversary tour of the iconic album I Should Coco. Drummer Danny Goffey shared his excitement: “We are so pleased to be involved in the Gunnersbury Park gig with The Libertines…Gunnersbury Park is a really amazing venue to see bands perform. We first played with The Libertines 22 years ago…time flies when you’re having fun.”
A Summer Day of Standout Acts
Joining The Libertines and Supergrass is a stellar cast of British talent. Soft Play—the punk duo Laurie Vincent and Isaac Holman—will bring their signature raw energy, while Hak Baker will deliver his heartfelt storytelling, which has made him one of London’s most respected voices. Brighton’s Lambrini Girls and the Netherlands’ Real Farmer complete this vibrant bill, making Gunnersbury Park the place to be for rock fans next summer.
With a reputation as one of West London’s premier open-air venues, Gunnersbury Park will also host a diverse series of events in August, including a highly anticipated show with Khruangbin.
Tickets go on general sale this Friday, November 8, at 10 AM via Ticketmaster.
