Wednesday 13 Channels 80s Sleaze with Taime Downe on Fiery New Single ‘No Apologies’

With his 10th studio album Mid Death Crisis landing this Friday via Napalm Records, horror-punk icon Wednesday 13 has just dropped a new hard rock hammer: ‘No Apologies’, featuring Faster Pussycat’s Taime Downe.

Currently raging across North America on his There’s No Such Thing As Monsters tour, Wednesday 13 isn’t letting up. His latest track is a venom-laced, fist-pumping anthem that pays homage to his glam-metal roots, all while stomping through toxic terrain with a middle-finger raised sky-high.

“This is the most rock n’ roll song I’ve written in years,” says Wednesday 13. “Having one of my rock n’ roll idols alongside me in the studio was an honour.”

Backed by searing guitar work and delivered with attitude to burn, ‘No Apologies’ is equal parts sleazy glam throwback and forward-charging headbanger. The track arrives alongside a brand new video, with Taime Downe appearing for a full-on glam-punk riot.

The single is a key cut from Mid Death Crisis, a “leave-your-brain-at-the-door” rocker produced by Alex Kane and mixed by Steve Evetts. The album swings from gothic punk to industrial horror anthems and everything in between. Highlights include the arena-ready ‘When The Devil Commands’, the gothic-punk bruiser ‘Blood Storm’, and the theatrical curveball ‘Decapitation’.
