Rifle Drop Ferocious New Single Worthless Featuring The Chisel

“The Chisel are an instrumental part of our band’s career… the back and forth vocals came together in less than an hour—it’s become a favourite of ours.”

Rifle Unleash New Single Worthless Featuring The Chisel

With their self-titled debut album just around the corner, London punks Rifle have fired off another warning shot with the release of Worthless, a snarling new single featuring fellow punk insurgents The Chisel. Out now via YEAR0001, the track arrives alongside a raw, high-voltage video that captures the venom and spirit of the collaboration.

The song, born out of an impromptu studio session, proved to be a defining moment for the band. “Worthless is one of the first times we brought more of an idea than a fully formed song,” they say. “It felt like it needed something more—so we called Cal Graham. Within an hour, the back-and-forth vocals we laid down became the glue. It’s one of our favourites now.”

The collaboration comes naturally. The Chisel were there from the early days—sharing stages and sweat-soaked venues—making this team-up feel less like a feature and more like a reunion of sonic siblings. The result? A battering ram of punk energy that hits harder with every listen.

Borne From the Underground, Built to Detonate

Rifle’s origin story reads like a gritty Camden punk zine. Formed in the shadows of dead-end jobs, singer Max and bassist Ross stitched together a band that grew like a “demented social club” into a five-piece outfit of volume and vengeance—Flynn (drums), Albert and Louis (guitar) rounding out the attack.

Their sound? It’s pure gutter-punk muscle dragged through Oi!, anarcho punk, and pub rock. And their reputation? Earned in pits and fests across Europe—supporting The Chisel and The Chats, and hitting hard at Reading and Leeds, Venezia Hardcore, Rebellion, and Sjock.

With Rifle (out 16th January 2026 via Sweden’s YEAR0001), the band channels the fury of the working class into a tightly wound, feedback-laced barrage. “We wanted choruses with the energy of football chants,” they explain, nodding to Cock Sparrer and Cockney Rejects as inspirations. “This is a London record through and through.”

Album Incoming + Live Show at Moth Club

Rifle’s debut is a politically-charged 11-track statement built for fists and fury. Tracks like No King, Protest, and United State set the tone for an album that’s both personal and confrontational—produced alongside Jonah, who helped refine the chaos without dimming its punch.

The band will bring that live energy to London’s Moth Club on 28th March 2026, joined by Luxury Apartments and Eel Men. It’s the only announced show so far—one not to miss.
