Aerial Salad take aim at online-fuelled rage on Survive If I Let Ye
Aerial Salad have released their new single Survive If I Let Ye, a sharply observed and confrontational preview of the Manchester trio’s forthcoming third album, Ideal World.
Due for release on 6 November via Venn Records, Ideal World finds the band turning their attention towards division, misinformation and the anger stoked by online culture. On Survive If I Let Ye, that focus is narrowed to a particular breed of rage-filled masculinity: the kind shaped by manosphere content, conspiracy-driven social feeds and a fixation on violence.

Vocalist and guitarist Jamie Munro said: “The UK is facing a growing disparity among its people. Driven by looksmaxxing, right-wing manosphere content, this new baseline ‘NPC’ male now roams our streets, filled with misguided anger and fuelled by online fake news.”
A kitchen-table confession turned into a punk blast
Munro explained that the song emerged from a real early-hours conversation, with its narrator recounting another person’s desire for a confrontation that would give them an outlet for their pent-up fury.
“The story of the song draws on an actual conversation that took place around a kitchen table at 5:00 AM, where the main character describes how much they want someone to break into their house just so they can beat the life out of them and expel this built-up rage,” he said. “The song is told from the perspective of the storyteller.”
The single arrives with an official video, which can be viewed above or via the band’s YouTube channel. Survive If I Let Ye is also available to stream now.
Ideal World lands in November
Ideal World is set to arrive on 6 November through Venn Records. The record follows Aerial Salad’s recent output with another dose of melody-heavy punk rock, while its lyrics take a more pointed look at the social fractures surrounding the band in 2026.

The album is available to pre-order here.
