My Chemical Romance unveil lost Hoboken track from The Black Parade reissue

“Twenty years ago, we wrote what would become The Black Parade… All we knew is that we had made something crazy.”

My Chemical Romance release previously unheard Hoboken performance ahead of The Black Parade anniversary edition

My Chemical Romance have shared Someone Out There Loves You (Live from Hoboken), a previously unreleased live recording drawn from the era of The Black Parade.

The track was recorded at the band’s hometown venue Maxwell’s in Hoboken, New Jersey, during the original album tour in 2007. It arrives alongside live footage from the performance, one week before the expanded The Black Parade (20th Anniversary) collection lands on 23 October via Reprise Records.

The song is one of six bonus tracks included on the anniversary release, which pairs the original 14-track album with three B-sides and three recordings from the Hoboken show. Someone Out There Loves You (Live) will be available across all deluxe editions and the One Step 2LP release.

A complete Black Parade collection

The band say the new edition gathers the material completed during the original recording sessions in one place for the first time.

My Chemical Romance said: “Twenty years ago, we wrote what would become The Black Parade, our third record and the follow up to Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. At the time, we could never have imagined what the record would mean for the band. All we knew is that we had made something crazy, and something we couldn’t wait to get it out into the world… For the first time, we have included everything we finished during those sessions in a single collection.”

The physical editions feature reworked artwork from original The Black Parade cover artist James Jean, with limited vinyl variants and autographed formats available through the band’s official store. Pre-order the anniversary collection here.
