Bloodstock’s Winter Gathering Set to Shake Wolverhampton This December
Bloodstock is making history again with the launch of Bloodstock’s Winter Gathering, a brand-new, one-day metal event on 6th December 2025 at the legendary KK’s Steelmill in Wolverhampton. This winter edition of the iconic festival promises a stacked lineup, a crushing atmosphere, and a chance to experience a fresh chapter in UK heavy metal.
Candlemass Set to Headline
Leading the charge will be none other than Swedish doom metal pioneers Candlemass, celebrating their 40th anniversary in style. Still a force to be reckoned with on the global stage, the band is set to deliver their signature epic doom, bolstered by their forthcoming Black Star EP, due in May 2025.
“Candlemass are proud to be a part of the Bloodstock Winter Gathering! We have always felt welcome on British soil and we’re excited to be there once again and deliver our special brand of Swedish doom metal! See ya all soon… Love you!!!” the band shared.
A Lineup of Heavyweights
Joining Candlemass as a very special guest are British thrash legends Venom Inc, who will perform their album Ave in full for the first time ever. The bill also features:
- Raised By Owls – The kings of extreme metal comedy
- Hellripper – Scottish speed metal at its finest
- Tortured Demon – Rising thrashcore force
- King Kraken – Heavy grooves from Wales
But the metal madness doesn’t stop there. The second stage will see theatrical extreme metal unit Red Method take top billing alongside the powerful Thuum and Mancunian thrashers Hellbearer. Expect artist signing sessions, DJ sets, and more surprises to be revealed in the coming months.
