CROSSBONE SKULLY Teams Up with Nikki Sixx for “High On You”

“Crossbone Skully is doing something visually unique while blending kickass riffs and great songwriting with this project.” — Nikki Sixx

CROSSBONE SKULLY Drop Sizzling New Track with Nikki Sixx Ahead of Debut Album

CROSSBONE SKULLY have teamed up with legendary Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx on their latest explosive track, “High On You.” The song, a high-energy anthem about romantic obsession, showcases a larger-than-life chorus that begs to be screamed out loud. Accompanied by striking artwork from iconic designer Mark Wilkinson (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest), “High On You” ties into the evolving mythology of ‘Crossbone Skully,’ the protagonist created by the band’s founder and frontman Tommy Henriksen. The track is part of CROSSBONE SKULLY’s forthcoming debut album, Evil World Machine, which drops November 22 via Better Noise Music.

Crossbone Skully is doing something visually unique while blending kickass riffs and great songwriting with this project,” says Nikki Sixx. “I’m excited for them and can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”

Evil World Machine: A Dystopian Rock Saga

Evil World Machine isn’t just any rock album—it’s a concept piece inspired by dystopian visions akin to David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust and Diamond Dogs. Executive produced by the legendary Mutt Lange, who came out of retirement for this project, the album promises a sonic journey filled with hard-hitting riffs and dynamic storytelling. Henriksen, who also serves as guitarist and musical director for Alice Cooper’s band and is a member of Hollywood Vampires, has pulled together an all-star cast of musicians to bring his vision to life.

Backing Henriksen on the album are guitarist Tommy Denander, keyboardist Jamie Muhoberac (My Chemical Romance, John Mayer), bassist Chris Wyse (Hollywood Vampires, The Cult), drummer Glen Sobel (Alice Cooper), and mixer Olle Romo (Muse, Bryan Adams). The late Pete Way of UFO also contributed to the project.

The album features spoken-word appearances from major rock icons including Johnny Depp as “The Sorcerer,” Alice Cooper as “The Bringer of Light,” Joe Perry as “Big Bad Bone Crusher,” and Nikki Sixx himself as “The Crooked Crow.”

Henriksen describes “High On You” as a tribute to the raw, youthful intensity of love, saying: “It’s the kind of love that hooks you—an everlasting drug!”

More to Come: Graphic Novel and Animated Film

In true multimedia fashion, the Crossbone Skully universe doesn’t end with music. The saga will continue with a graphic novel and animated film titled Thing #1, slated for release in 2025, which will also feature voiceover performances from Nikki Sixx. This expansion promises to delve deeper into the character’s mythos and extend CROSSBONE SKULLY’s creative vision.
