Palaye Royale Unveil ‘Death or Glory’ and Kick Off UK In-Stores

Los Angeles rock trio Palaye Royale has released their highly anticipated fourth studio album, Death or Glory, via Sumerian Records. Known for their electrifying live shows and genre-bending sound, the band is set to embark on an extensive tour across the US, UK, and Europe, with the UK leg starting today at Rough Trade East in London.

A New Chapter in the Palaye Royale Saga

Death or Glory marks a confident new chapter for Palaye Royale. After the genre-hopping adventure of 2020’s The Bastards and the orchestral beauty of 2022’s Fever Dream, this latest album brings a sense of fun and freedom back to the band’s music. “We’re not taking ourselves too seriously and just having a good time this time around,” says frontman Remington Leith. The album, produced in a garage studio with longtime collaborator Matt Squire, captures the raw energy and spontaneity that fans have come to love from the band.

The Heart Behind the Glory

Despite its carefree exterior, Death or Glory carries significant emotional weight. During the recording process, the band received the devastating news that their mother, Stephanie Rachel, had been diagnosed with stage four cancer. She passed away nine months later. “This album is coming out at the perfect time,” guitarist Sebastian Danzig reflects. “Instead of living in this dark, depressing headspace, Death or Glory is forcing us to chase fun and excitement.” The album is a tribute to their mother’s strength and a reminder to live life to the fullest.

UK In-Stores and Global Tour

Palaye Royale’s UK in-store appearances kick off today and will be followed by a series of headline shows across the US, UK, and Europe, including a major performance at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on November 9th.
