Neck Deep set to close 2000trees Festival 2026
2000trees Festival has unveiled its final wave of artists for 2026, confirming Welsh pop-punk heavyweights Neck Deep as Saturday night headliners.
Taking place from July 8–11 at Upcote Farm near Cheltenham, the much-loved independent festival returns with another stacked lineup spanning emo, punk, hardcore and alternative across five stages, including the beloved Forest Stage.
For Neck Deep, the moment marks a milestone appearance. The band first played the festival a decade ago, and now return to close the event with their first-ever main-stage festival headline slot.
Joining them in the latest announcement are a number of major names and cult favourites. Legendary emo pioneers Sunny Day Real Estate will make their long-awaited festival debut, while Brighton favourites The Xcerts return alongside British hardcore standouts Higher Power.
Elsewhere, MOBO-winning duo ALT BLK ERA, Australian punk legends Cosmic Psychos, and returning Trees favourites Mallory Knox are also among the fresh additions.
They join an already stacked lineup featuring Funeral For A Friend, Alkaline Trio, Glassjaw, Superheaven, High Vis, Lambrini Girls, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Pinkshift, Cancer Bats, Bad Nerves, Banks Arcade, The Dirty Nil, Pool Kids, Ho99o9 and many more.
Wednesday lineup revealed with Pup headlining
The festival has also confirmed its full Wednesday opening day lineup, with Canadian punk favourites Pup headlining the opening night.
They’ll be joined by fast-rising Irish post-punk outfit SPRINTS, Canadian rockers The Dirty Nil, and an array of emerging alternative acts across the site.
Festival organiser promises a huge year
Festival organiser James Scarlett says the 2026 edition is shaping up to be one of the biggest in the event’s history.
He said the team are “incredibly proud” of the lineup, which mixes returning favourites with long-awaited debuts and exclusive sets.
Returning artists include Marmozets, Arcane Roots, The Bronx, and Cancer Bats, while the festival also welcomes new additions such as Sunny Day Real Estate and Pinkshift for the first time.
With tickets already selling faster than ever, Scarlett believes this year’s edition will be a special one.
