Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats Return With Don’t Let It Control You

Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats share new single Don’t Let It Control You, announce a physical 7 inch release, and confirm a November 2026 UK tour.

Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats Share New Single Don’t Let It Control You

Cult rock misfits Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats have returned with a vicious new single, Don’t Let It Control You, out now via Killer Candy Records and streaming exclusively on YouTube.

A blood-soaked blast from their forthcoming studio album, the track tears through three minutes and forty-five seconds of warped psycho rock, all Fuzzrite bite, Stooges-style piano, crooked harmonies and sinister pop instincts. It is grimy, fast, and built to lodge itself somewhere uncomfortable.

Physical 7 Inch Release Confirmed

The single will also arrive as a physical 7 inch release on 29th May, marking the band’s first 7 inch since Pusher Man in 2016. Pre-orders are available through Killer Candy Records.

To accompany the release, the band have teamed with low-budget B-movie specialists Tinnitus Productions for an exclusive Super 8 music video.

A Cult Force Still Moving In The Shadows

Led by Kevin Starrs, Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats have spent more than a decade carving out their own cracked corner of heavy music. From the riff-worshipping menace of Blood Lust and Mind Control to the cinematic detours of Nell’ora Blu, the band have remained hard to pin down and harder to imitate.

Now operating through their own Killer Candy Records, Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats enter their next chapter with a new album set for 2026 and a single that suggests the rot is spreading nicely.
